Another series of outstanding wins at the New Zealand International Wine Show 2016
We're excited and proud to have taken out five gold medals at the New Zealand International Wine Show 2016
Formed in 2005, the New Zealand International Wine Show is firmly established as the largest wine competition held in New Zealand each year. The medal selections were the result of rigorous judging at the beginning of September by many of New Zealand’s most senior wine judges and commentators, who selected the ‘best of the best’ from over 2000 entries.
So we are rapt (and somewhat humbled) that Church Road was awarded five gold medals and a further three silver medals across our portfolio at the show awards event on Saturday.
The Church Road commitment to centuries-old French winemaking techniques balanced with technological and innovative winemaking advancements is what the winemaking team at Church Road does best. It’s certainly earned us our reputation for producing the epitome of the traditional Bourdeaux and Burgundian style wine right here in New Zealand and these great wins in this international competition.
