A remarkable score of 96 points brings Church Road Grand Reserve Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay 2015 a five star rating as ‘Chardonnay Grandeur’ in the latest edition of The Real Review and Cellar Talk Wines.

“Ripe peach, nectarine and apricot flavours seasoned with brioche-like yeast lees, nutty oak, struck flint, mineral and a suggestion of sizzled butter. An intense wine that, though approachable now, promises to develop well with further bottle age”.

Bob also suggests a food match of pan-fried snapper, cuttlefish, capsicum, chorizo and white beans- and we couldn’t agree more.
